$9.00	Astronomical League Membership The Astronomical League is a federation of over 240 local astronomical societies all across the United States, forming one of the largest amateur astronomy organizations in the world. Below are just a few things the League does: - Fostering astronomical education - Providing incentives for observation and research - Assisting in communication between amateur astronomical societies. The basic goal of the League is to encourage interest in astronomy - especially amateur astronomy. The League wants people to get out and look through telescopes (whether it is your own telescope or someone else's) and view the beauty of the heavens. You must be a SLAS member to get club pricing.
