Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova
This is a series of 17 thirty second exposures with a delay of 180 seconds between each exposure. They were taken 2017 FEB 12 between 1049 and 1147 UT with a Paramount ME, C-14 telescope operating at f/5.5 & ST-10XME camera binned 3x3, chilled to -10 and using a clear filter. FOV is about 18 x 26 arc minutes. I did not guide which is why the background drifts.
North is up. East is to the left.
Software used: TheSky6, CCDSoft & Orchestrate.
Glare in the images was caused by the nearby nearly full Moon.
It's sometimes necessary to let the animation run through a few times before it starts running smoothly.
